Fragile Ecologies brings attention to the environment to hopefully guarantee that there is an earth for future generations. The exhibition deals with the interactions between people and the natural world. The artists in Fragile Ecologies are focusing on their relationships at a species level and are sharing with the viewers those animals that are struggling for survival. The artists, Troy Abbott, Pavel Acosta, Patrick Jacobs, Fay Ku, Aurora Molina, Enrique Gomez de Molina, Maria Magdalena Campos Pons, Carrie Sieh, translate the efficacy of relaying social messages. Art then, in Fragile Ecologies, becomes more than a pretty picture over the sofa. See some of the work here.
